PISMO2-Qimonda Boards

PISMO™ (Platform Independent Storage Module), is a standard memory module especially recommended for the PISMO interface. It defines mechanical and electrical specifications for small form-factor memory modules.

PISMO memory modules can be used for verifying and prototyping memory devices with a variety of memory host controllers and development platforms.

Qimonda is one of the members of the PISMO Advisory Council.  This collaboration of industry leading companies has the objective to define and develop standards for board level (external) memory interfaces and promote their worldwide adoption.

Modules that comply with the PISMO2 specification are small, modular, and stackable.

The PISMO2 standard enables peripheral hardware products from multiple vendors to interface seamlessly with development platforms based on different chipsets.
