Definition:

Industry Association that was founded by the consolidation of the two former European federations of the information and telecommunications industries. Meanwhile, the scope has been expanded to the consumer electronics industry. Today, EICTA combines 39 national digital technology associations from 27 European countries with over 57 direct company members.
