Interview
Martina Drimala is an External Logistics Manager at Qimonda. She has a degree in Business
Administration from the University of Munich.
Q: What were the main motiva ting factors that drew you to Qimonda?
A: The prospect of a really interesting job that carries a lot of responsibility. I am
challenged to find new and innovative answers to logistics issues on a daily basis. Of course
working with a dynamic team really helps. I was also attracted by the opportunity to travel and the
chance to work globally as part of an international team.
Q: What do you feel differentiates Qimonda from other companies, especially companies in the
same industry?
A: It’s not for nothing that our values are “creative, passionate and fast”. And I do feel
that these values differentiate us from other companies in this industry. Now that we have the
freedom to restructure our business, we can take advantage of the opportunity to differentiate
ourselves further by pushing the DRAM business.
Q: Where do you see yourself in a few years’ time?
A: Although my career path with Qimonda actually started out in 2001, I have only been in my
current position for six weeks. One thing is sure – there are plenty of oppor tunities for job
rotation and advancement at Qimonda. But regardless of where my current position takes me, Qimonda
is the kind of company that likes to reward its employees for exceptional achievements and hard
work. So there are always new opportunities on the horizon.
